We have an AlphaServer 2100A 5/250 running on DU 3.2d-2 which had
configured to be a member of ASE (v1.3). Under ASE, there is only one NFS
service which hold data disks of all users an serves another four internet
servers via NFS including itself (via NFS). The server also acts as master
in NIS service which we have included them in start/stop action scripts of
the NFS service. About two or three after the first system up and running,
we got error messages repeatly show on the system console as follows:

The messages continueously display on the console for a day or
more, then the server is apparently freez. Nothing we can do at the moment
except press the halt button on it's panel. After we restart the system
and let it running for a month, the messages will be shown, then it will
freez again.
