Dear colleagues
I am Dr. Iliya Trub, Applied Mathematics Department, Donetsk
Technical University, Ukraine. I use Digital Unix 3.2c. Very
hard problem has appeared today on my computer. It does not
recognize any password, either root or users'. It writes
"Login incorrect". I did not changed any passwords! What
is happened?
During the booting time I noted message "Error server logged"
and some messages from fsck about damaged files.
I entered in single-user mode and noted, that file
/etc/passwd is OK. Moreover, Des-code of root on thes of root on the /etc/passwd
and /tcb/files/auth/r/root are the same. May be something with
crypting program? Could you give me any advise? I shall collect
all ideas on the SUMMARY.
   Sincerely,
     Iliya Trub
