OpenGL and 4D40T with texture memory

Hello,

I've just received a 433au under DU40c with Open3D430. It has been shipped
with a 4D40T instead of the promised 4D50T. Could anyone tell me what are
exactly the differences between those two cards?

Moreover, there are 4Mo of texture memory on it. Yet, playing with GL
samples, it turns out that, although GL is a lot faster than Mesa for the
teapot and the others, the samples using texture are exactly the same speed
with GL than with Mesa. Anyway, it seems that those sample are too simple
too see if the texture memmory is used. Thus, my real question would be:
how could I see if my texture memory is correctly recognized and does
Open3D-340 make use of it? Any idea?

Thanks in advance for your help.
