CDE and Acroread as Netscape Plug-in Problem

Dear Managers:

I have recently, with much excitementi, installed the Adobe Acrobat reader for
Digital Unix. It is working wonderfully.

I also attempted to use it as a plug-in for Netscape that too works wonderfully
as long as I launch netscape from the command line.

If it starts by itself at the start of my CDE session, no plugin is loaded.

If I use the Create Action tool to create an icon for exactly the same
command as I use from the command line, Netscape shows the plug-in as
loaded but I get the following error messages in 2 seperate windows when
I try to view a PDF.

  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  | Could not load the plug-in 'nppdf.so' for the MIME type 'application/pdf'.|
  | Make sure enough memory is available and that the plug-in is installed |
  | correctly. |
  | |
  | OK |
  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

  --------------------------------------------------
  | 500 Cannot exec acroread or acroexch, errno=2.|
  | Acrobat plug-in. Could not launch Acrobat. |
  | |
  | OK |
  --------------------------------------------------

If anyone knows what is going on I would appreciate some guidance.

Thanks

Richard
