SUMM: CDE and Acroread as Netscape Plug-in Problem

Thanks to all who responded to my original post below:

I have now got a partial solution to my problem in that I can now
run Netscape with the acroread plug-in from an icon, no problem.

It was necessary to add the path name of the acroread to the existing
PATH as set in the .dtprofile file in my home directory.

HOWEVER, I still get a copy of Netscape autostarting with no plugins
installed when my new session begins, even though Netscape was running
with the acroread plug-in when I shut down the previous session.

If anyone can help me with this second part I would appreciate, once
again, their guidance.

Thanks again for all the good advice.

Richard
