I've got a DEC 2000 axp running 3.0 of du. I added a rz29b to an
expansion ba350 hanging off of a second eisa controller. when i first
attempted to newfs the drive, i'd hang the bus. after that, i continued
to have bus hangs. i had dec replace the controller on friday, the drive
finally newfs'd and all seemed to be going well, until this morning.
again, the bus hung (green led on the 29b was lit solid, no other activity
on any of the drives in the ba350.)
my question is, any one know of problems with the 29b on 3.0? there is an
entry in disktab for it so, to me, it's supported. I'm enclosing a
disklabel -r from the drive. any input would be appreciated.
Jim
