The consensus is that doing level 0 backups using vdump with cloned
filesets is safe and effective (no I don't work for the FDA), provided any
open databases are either closed or quiescent when the cloned filesets are
created. A couple of folks also noted that you might need to put sleep
statements around the 'rmfset' command to get it to behave properly.

Is anyone out there using cloned filesets for level 0 vdumps? I've been
using the clones for level 1, but I shutdown to single-user mode and do a
"normal" vdump of each fileset for the full backup.
What sort of pitfalls/nightmares could I open myself up to by doing full
backups using the clonefset in multi-user mode?
BTW, my OS is DU 4.0B.
