AS 500/500 no console out

Hi All,


We have just taken delivery os an Alpha Workstation 500/500
and can not get any out put on either the serial or graphics
ports.

We had to install the graphics card and the hard disk. We think,
therefore, there might be a jumper on the motherboard that sets what the
default console mode is. The only other idea is, does the graphics PCI card
have be be in any particular slot?

Any help would be appreciated.
