Now it has been pointed out to me that maybe my machine can not seem to see
dns..... I have all the configuration right for dns, however when I try to
telnet or ping my dns servers, I get timeouts....I am never able to reach
my dns servers...
However it turns out my dns servers start with 128.231.x.x...
Now this systems is also physically attached to another dec station via
a serial link (ln0) and this other station starts with a 128.231.x.x as far
as ip address are concerned, however this other station does not seem to
act as a router or forward the requests...
Bottom line, how do I get around this....... THis other machine is a
Dec machine running ultrix....how do I tell it to be a router...
Any help would be appeicated
Chris
