ORIGINAL QUESTION:

i'm adding another hsz50 to my system for a dual-redundant configuration
the hsz's will be attached to kzpsa's
my question is: will the system use both kzpsa's simultaneously
so i will now get double the throughput from the disks to the system
or, does the 2nd kzpsa only get used if a hsz fails
========

I received 3 NO's & one YES on this question
The YES answer referred to "preferred paths" set on the hsz.
After searching for this phrase in my manuals,
it appears that this CAN be done.
For a HSZ, you must have a dual-redundant multibus failover
configuration.
Then you just assign preferred paths for target ID's to
THIS_CONTROLLER or OTHER_CONTROLLER.
