I have three du 4.0b systems 1000a, 2100a and 8400. I have been running the
top program on the
1000a and 2100a, but have never been able to get top to run on the 8400. I
get a memory fault[core dump]
message every time it's run from root. If I run it from a generic user
account, it run's, but doesn't display any
processes. I have run the Configure routine and specified none for the
compiler options and have setup gcc.
Nothing seems to help. I used gcc on the 1000a and it worked fine.
Any ideas where I can go from here?
