How to create a single files system out of 3 disks?

System Managers,

I have 3 one-gig disks that I'd like to make into 1 three-gig filesystem.
I'm not sure how to do this on an Alpha. Would someone please provide
the steps?

I first thought I'd use Advfs. I do not have the POLYCENTER Advanced File
System Utilities component and could not find the addvol command. Just what
part of the Avdfs is included with DU 4.0B? Does this give you the ability
to ONLY create an Advfs on a single drive, but not multiple drives?

Maybe LSM is the way to go. I 've managed to get the 3 disks into a the
disk group: rootdg. How do I now make a filesystem and mount it?

Enter disk name [<disk>,list,q,?] list
Disk group: rootdg

DM NAME DEVICE TYPE PRIVLEN PUBLEN PUBPATH

dm rz10 rz10 sliced 1024 2049820 /dev/rrz10g
dm rz11 rz11 sliced 1024 2049820 /dev/rrz11g
dm rz9 rz9 sliced 1024 2049820 /dev/rrz9g

Thanks for any info you can provide.
