Dead advfs

Hi everybody,
We have an AlphaServer 2100 with a 4-disk RAID-5 array. The
controller is a RAID Array 200 StorageWorks adapter, with 4 4.3-Gb RZ29
hard drives.
We had the array set up as one AdvFS file domain, and one file
set. Yesterday, we lost a CPU, and this somehow corrupted our file system.
When we try to mount the file set, we get the following message:
u_dmn#u_fs on /u: Device does not contain a valid ADVFS file system
When we run a showfdmn on the domain, we get this:
showfdmn: unable to get info for domain 'u_dmn'
showfdmn: error = E_INVALID_FS_VERSION(-1135)
However, all our data is still intact on the drives; if we do a
'more' on /dev/re0, we get our data.
My question is: Is it possible to recreate the AdvFS on this file
set without destroying the data that's already on the drive? Many thanks
in advance!
