For nearly a year I have been running Netscape's Enterprise servers on a
AlphaStation 200/166 running DU3.2C
Config: 64Mbytes of memory.
Swap: 200Mbytes
Servers: 2 off Enterprise on different IP addresses
1 off FastTrack on different IP address.
All three www servers are lightly loaded, only 50K hits per month combined.
All off a sudden I am getting errors on _one_ Enterprise server. The
error is:
[DATE] warning: for host foo trying to GET /bar.html, send-file reports:
error opening buffer from /www/bar.html (Not enough space)
When this error occurs, the page does not get served.
The other two server do not get this error. If I restart the offending
server, it behaves for a few days, and then the problem reappers.
I have checked memory with vmstat, and appear to have free memory. I have
plenty of free disk space. My swap space is 99% free.
Has anyone else seen this problem, or know a possible solution?
Regards,
Garry.
