setld hanging, any ideas?

I'm trying to install a product from the CD ROM set and before I can
install the new doc set, I have to deinstall the existing one. Problem
is, setld -d FUSMAN121 hangs. I can inventory the items and grep for
fuse and get this:

FUSMAN121 installed FUSE On-line Manual Pages V1.2A

But I can't delete it. I did a fuse -i FUSMAN121 and discovered that
for whatever reason, I have not a clue why, the files in the inventory
are already gone.

I tried touching the files mentioned in the inventory, hoping that setld
just needed to find them, but that didn't help. It still hangs.

I get no messages or anything, just this:

# setld -d FUSMAN121

Any ideas, or ways to hack whatever file contains the inventory information
would be appreciated.
