Tape Capacity

     Dear Netland,

We recently backed up our 72 Gigabyte Oracle database server into an
TZ-86 with a Compact III tape. This would suggest some whopping
compression to fit this much capacity into what should be a maximum of
a 20 Gigabyte cartridge. We are comfortable because we restored a
file that was about 60 Gigabytes into the tape and it restored fine.

Has anyone else seen this, or should I be concerned?

     Thanks in advance,
