I attempted to install POLYCENTER Advisor and Data Collector from
April 1997 layered products CDs on an AS2000 running DU 4.0b.
The following got installed:
ECPBASE400 POLYCENTER CP Device Database
ECPDC400 POLYCENTER CP Data Collector
ECPINTE400 POLYCENTER CP Data Integrator
ECPPLAN400 POLYCENTER CP Capacity Planner
PSDCCM302 PSDC Common Files - Mandatory
PSDCDC302 PSDC Data Collector
PSDCMA302 PSDC Man pages
PSPACM302 PSPA Common Files - Mandatory
PSPAMA302 PSPA Man pages
PSPAPA302 PSPA Performance Advisor
But, I could not start the data collector. The error log file says:
This build of the DC not built to run on operating system version V4.0 564
So, is there a version that will run on DUNIX 4.0b? I haven't installed
the jumbo patch DUV40BAS00004-19970808 yet! Will this help?
