su Message

Hi Gurus,
Today I had a weird message on my DU 3.2G OS when I used the "su"
command :

"su : invalid multibyte character"

I got this messages when I did a "ls -l" and "find". This is the first
time I saw this message on my system.

Is there something to worry about?
