CDE trouble

We are using DU4.0B. Someone screwed up the CDE setup so we can´t use
the file-manager and the desktop applications.

When I select desktop application from the panel the following error
occurs:
       Invalid folder /usr/var/dt/appconfig/appmanager/root-as4000-0

and when we start filemanager we get:
       Invalid folder specification

I tried to enter dxfile from command line, but then I get:
       dtfile: broken pipe in PipeRead

Any ideas? Would it help to use setld -d on the CDE subsets, clean up a
little and then install the CDE subsets again?


Also, how can I change the keyboard in CDE. (from USA to GB/Irish) I´ve
used dxkeycaps but I can´t save the changes. Next time I login and its
gone!
