Uff, here it is.

I found it after I've had the chance to have a look on another 4.0 System.
It's the file type of the c partition which is wrong. This partition,
which means the whole disk and never is in use, mustn't be from type
4.2BSD. It has to be unused.
All my other systems are DU 3.2C and there it doesn't matter of what type
c is and it 's always 4.2BSD. Perhaps that isn't correct, but it worked
fine. But after upgrade to 4.0 the trouble is obviously.

After a look at my mail there was an answer from Dr. Tom Blinn.

And ,of course, he brought the problem to the point. So here his answer
much better than I 'll ever be able to say it :

You show "c" as having a UFS file system type (4.2BSD) which it can't have
if the other partitions are in use.

Use disklabel with the -F qualifier to FORCE the fstype of the "c"
partition
to be "unused". If you want to swap on "b", FORCE it to be type "swap".

Tom

Thank you very much for your help.

thanks also to Olle Eriksson for his answer too.
