Dear group,
a new/first DLT7000 arrived yesterday and ran ok for about an hour, then
problems occurred. Errors appeared in the errlog and a power-cycle of the
unit showed errors on the unit itself. A few hours later the unit worked ok
for about half an hour and failed again.
Since we have DLT2000's for years without problems I wonder if this DLT7000
is defect or is it in combination with our 500-5/266 with DU4.0b.
Anybody using Quantum's DLT7000 with Alpha and Digital Unix?
BTW. the unit is connected to the standard wide connector.
