Hi,
I've got various dot matrix printers setup via telnet printing off a 900TM.
The problem I am having is sometimes the printer clags for no reason, esp.
when lots of jobs are pumped through, as well as an odd occurence where two
jobs are fired off at the same time, on occaision the resulting printout is
half of the first job and half of the second.
An idea is that maybe lpd is pumping requests through to the terminal server
too quickly, and I am getting port overflow?
Has anyone experienced any problems like this before? Anyone know how I could
put a delay into the printer queue, so that multiple requests were delayed by
x seconds before being pumped on to the terminal server?
Any help appreciated,
rgds,
gunther
