I'm running Digital Unix 4.0 on a DEC alpha 300 4/266. I have several
successful and recognized alias entries in my /usr/var/adm/sendmail/aliases
file except for one. The bad "state" alias entry is apparently too large
for when I type the "newaliases" command, I get the error response:
/var/adm/sendmail/aliases: line 223: DBM store of state (size 1310) failed:
No space left on device
12 aliases, longest (state) 1310 bytes, 4390 bytes total
Any ideas of getting all the included names in the "alias" entry to work?
I've tried breaking the "state" entry into two "state" entries but with the
same names, only the second "state" entry gets recognized. So I now have
it back to the original long "state" entry. Here's my syntax:
state: emailaddress1,
emailaddress2,
.
.
.
.
lastemailaddress
