Hi Managers,

Today I've started to share my workstation running DU 4.0B with a
colleage. He is logged in via an X-Terminal and uses CDE. I am sitting
right on the console and I'm using DXsession. We both use the CDE login
to start our sessions. (I'm selecting Dxsession from the session menu).
Now we've encountered the following problems:

1.) The persons which logs in last, gets the dxconsole window and the
    window disappears from the person who was already logged in !!
    This is not how I want it: I want the dxconsole window to be always
    on the local X server and not on the remote X-terminal. How can I
    achieve this?

2.) Even before we shared the workstation, I got the following log
    entries:

Nov 25 12:39:58 finwal01 syslog: libtt[2821]: ttdt_Xt_input_handler():
tttk_message_receive(): TT_ERR_NOMP^INo ttsession process is running, probably
because tt_open() has not been called yet. If this code is returned from tt_open()
it means ttsession could not be started, which generally means ToolTalk is not
installed on this system.
Nov 25 15:31:37 finwal01 syslog: libtt[26160]: _Tt_rpc_client::init():
fcntl(F_SETFD): m

    I don't know if I have ToolTalk installed but I got the following
    entries in my /etc/inetd.conf file:

    dtspc stream tcp nowait root /usr/dt/bin/dtspcd dtspcd
    rpc.cmsd/2-4 dgram rpc/udp wait root /usr/dt/bin/rpc.cmsd rpc.cmsd
    rpc.ttdbserverd stream rpc/tcp wait root /usr/dt/bin/rpc.ttdbserverd \
        rpc.ttdbserverd

    and "rpcinfo -p localhost" reports that rpc.cmsd and rpc.ttdbserverd
    are running?

    What am I doing wrong?

3.) We got a peculiar crash of both of our sessions simultaneously:
    It looks as if the session manager of both of us just died and
    we were both returned to the CDE login screen !!
    I found no messages in the logs or something and I can't explain
    that as it has never happened to me before when I was using
    the workstation along. There is lots of RAM and lots of Swap
    available and no messages in this context in the logs so
    this is not the reason. Any idea anyone what could cause this?

Thanks -- Tom
