root mount not supported ?

Hi,

I'm on an Alpha 2100 dual 5/300 with DU 3.2c
All the filesystems are advfs
Going from single user to multiuser (init 3) I noticed
the following msg:
"exec /sbin/mount_advfs
root_domain on / : operation not supported"
I looked /etc/fstab and seems OK
Any clue, idea, where to look for, or comment will be
appreciated.
