color printer lj250

Dear Managers,

I've been given an old DEC Companion Color Printer lj250.

I've installed it on my alpha server (Dunix 4.0b) with lprsetup,
but i'm able only to print ASCII files.

I'ld like to use the lj250 for printing Postscript files but i'm not
able and I don't even know if it is possible.

The printer can only print HP-PCL and DEC characters so probably I
need a filter which translates form ps to them.

Any ideas if it possible and ,hopefully, how to do it?
