Hi managers,
I have an AS1000 4/233 system with 320MB memory, 700MB swap, running
Oracle. The system was upgraded recently form 96MB to 320MB. The
Oracle people changed some parameters for the database and I increased
the shm-max to 33554432. But now I'm getting "Swap space below 10%"
warnings even though 72% of the swap is available.
I suspect that some memory parameters may not be correct. So now I´m
looking for information on which memory parameters to tune and what
values to give them. A pointer to a tuning guide would also be helpful.
Thanks
Sjonni
