Inn and ADVFS

Hello,

I hate to bring up using ADVFS for news spool again as I noticed quite
a few questions about it in the archives but here it is anyway.
We are running Inn 1.5.1sec2 on DU 4.0b ( and patch set 5) with 4 4 gig
drives setup as the news spool (on a 3000 300). I have had a couple of people
comment that we seem to miss articles that they later find on Deja News
or other news servers. I have had our news feed tell me that it is
our slow network which is probably to blame for this. I was curious
if any of the known problems with ADVFS and News might be
responsible for this?
Would switching over to LSM and UFS speed the server up at all?

Thanks,
Matt Goebel

PS: yes this is pretty much a full news feed
