POP

I'm having some problems with my Decs mail systems. I'm running 4.0b at the
moment. The sendmail is running, and allows for users to send and receive e-mail
from their shells. They can also use a commercial e-mail system, like Eudora,
from a workstation and send mail, but when they try and get their mail off the
server from a workstation it will not connect. It either gives a CONNECTION
REFUSED error or on other programs, a TIME OUT error.

I checked in my /etc/services and POP is on port 109. I might be wrong but I
though it was suposed to run on port 110. Could this be the problem or am I in
left field?

Any suggestions greatly appreacated.
