Hello All,
It appears I was on the right track, but on the wrong machine.

Responses indicated that I need to configure Exceed on my PC
to allow the connection to my Alpha. I used the following dialogs
in Exceed to accomplish this :
        TOOLS -> CONFIGURATION -> SECURITY &
              Added my Alpha to the Host Access Control List
              (Right where my other systems were listed)
        *** I was thinking my Alpha was the host ***

It has since been suggested that I remove the ACL entries and
allow connections to all systems (ie. "xhost +").

Thanks to the following, who hit the nail on the head :
      Richard Eisenman <eisenman_at_tricity.wsu.edu>
      Juha Suhonen <juhas_at_juhas.net>

Original Problem was :

System = AS4100, DU4.0B and JUMBO patchkit 5.
I can use the basic Win95 telnet session to log onto the system.
However, when I use the Exceed software (from Hummingbird
Comm.) I get the following errors :
           Xlib: connection to "dbagjg:0.0" refused by server
           Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
           Error: Can't open display: dbagjg:0.0
The command I am using is :
           /usr/bin/X11/dxterm -d dbagjg:0.0
Can someone please help me make this work ?
