This is my first posting to this list, I'm not even sure it'll go to the right
place, but if it does, there's my problem:
I'm using Digital unix on alpha and I need to control the access given to users
through ftp (and also telnet if possible), each user should be able to logon to
the system with their own name and password (with ftp and telnet) but they
should only have access to what belongs to them, right now, any account owner on
the system can navigate around the whole filesystem (almost all of it) and poke
around, fortunately the permissions usually prevents them to access some areas
and at least denies them any write access (or delete of course) to most files,
but they still can download some rather sensitive files with impunity.
The anonymous setup works fine and I don't see any trouble with it, but the
registered users have access to way too much.
How do I control this?
