Sorry for the delay in sending this summary.
Despite the various suggestions, I was unable to sort this
out. I turned C2 security off but when I turned it
on again it was still locked. I tried unlocking :0 with
dxdevices but no joy. I've been unable to find
the source of this problem...so in desparation I've left
C2 security turned off until I can find time to check this
out again!!!
