Dear Gurus,

We recently purchased fddi cards for all of our Alphas. This weekend
we're planning on moving from the current ethernet connections to
fddi. I came up with a "to do" list for the transition and would
like for you gurus to tke a look at it to ensure I didn't miss anything.

BTW, we're changing the IP addresses as we move to fddi.

 1. Edit /etc/resolv.conf /* enter new ip */

 2. Edit /etc/rc.config /* change from NETDEV_0 from ln0 to fta0 */
/* and change IFCONFIG_0 to the new ip */

 3. Edit /etc/hosts /* enter new ip */

 4. reboot

Ok, did I miss anything? I'll summerize.

Thanks,
Steve McLaughlin
