All,
This is to clarify a previous posting, in which I said:
>I have been on a course detailing upgrading from 3.2x to 4.0/4.0a,
and
>I would strongly advise against upgrading to anything before 4.0b, as
>4.0 is highly unstable, and 4.0a is not much better.
In hindsight, the term 'highly unstable' was inaccurate and
misleading.
Versions 4.0 and 4.0a are buggy (as is often the case with the first
major software release), but they are not unstable. Based on my
experience, that of others, and advice from Digital staff, an upgrade
to 4.0b is the best path to take.
My apologies for any misunderstanding caused by this.
regards,
Matt
