Greetings,

I know this on has been done to death, but here goes...

I have sourced that following releases of DU:

3.2c
3.2g
4.0b

I wanted to upgrade through from 3.2c to 4.0b
via the 3.2c->3.2g->4.0b..

It would be nice to run "installupdate", rather than
nuking the system disk and installing 4.0b from scratch
because it took 6 months to get all the DECnet OSI/X.25
layered products right, and ther would be a lot of
reconfiguring of namespace databases, startup NCL files, etc.

However, after reading the DU4.0b Release Notes, you
can only update from 4.0 or 4.0a..

Do you need to upgrade to 3.2g before upgrading,
to 4.0 or 4.0a???

TIA, fcG.
