HELP: removing read-only links AND automount

Dear group, now and then read-only links appear at DigitalUnix clients
when using automount. When this happens the entire client-machine should
be rebooted to make the automounter work properly. Very annoying.

For instance in the 'ls -l'-output below the msc-link is such a link:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root system 20 Dec 15 15:06 basgis ->
/tmp_mnt/home/g13/basgis
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root system 20 Dec 15 15:06 lrivm ->
/tmp_mnt/home/g13/lrivm
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root system 20 Dec 15 15:15 msc
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root system 20 Dec 15 15:06 u1 ->
/tmp_mnt/home/g13/u1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root system 20 Dec 15 15:06 u2 ->
/tmp_mnt/home/g13/u2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root system 20 Dec 15 15:06 u3 ->
/tmp_mnt/home/g13/u3

When I try to remove it I get the message 'rm: msc: Read-only file
system'

Is there a way to remove this link!!

BTW, I'm using DU4.0 on both the clients and server

Hope someone can help me
