Hello,

I'm _trying_ to tune my DU system. To do so, I would like to determine the
average maximum working set size of my system. Is there a way to do so ?

I currently have monitor and top at my site. Can they be of any help ?

If anyone has good pointers regarding system tuning in the following
environment, please send them:

        - Alpha 2100/RM
        - DU 3.2D-1
        - HSZ40's in dual redundant config, RAIDSETS, MIRRORSETS, SINGLE
CONTAINERS
        - Oracle RDBMS 7.2.3, NO PARRALLEL QUERY
        - Polycenter Scheduler
        - 256 Mb of RAM (Will upgrade to 640 Mb soon)
        - Mostly client-server transactions. No direct logins to UNIX from
DB users, except for HUGE batch processes running at night and accessing the DB.
        - DecSafe (Not configured yet)
        - 2 CPU's (250Mhz) on the production machine
        - Almost NO X-Windows users

                                        TIA !

P.S.: Is it possible to PUT 640Mb of RAM in an alpha 2100/RM (We plan to put
a 128Mb board (existing) and replace the second one with a 512 Mb board.
