Has anyone succeded to setup pppd (ppp-2.2) and to dialout ISP with a modem to connect to internet?
When I dial with a chat script I get such messages in console log:

Feb 11 01:08:47 Alfa vmunix: ppp_async: FCS Error
Feb 11 01:08:47 Alfa vmunix: ppp_if: input error inc to 110
and so on and then modem hangs. I already searched mail list archives.
And how to setup kernel debugging of pppd?
