I've been wrestling with this problem for several months now--ever since
I upgraded to sendmail version 8.8.4. After searching all over for
information, I finally discovered a December 3 post to this list by
Daryl Fallin, who mentions that after installing the new version of
sendmail, he gets the error "554 rewrite: map _at_ not found". I too have
had the same problem. Response posts to Mr. Fallin suggest that he has
a faulty simm somewhere. I ran uerf on my machine, and there was no
indication of problems. Uerf's partial output is attached. I'm
wondering if any further discoveries have been made on this topic.
Specifically, I'm wondering if the problem could be caused by an
incompatibility between sendmail 8.8.4 and Dec's mailsetup script.
Thanks for the help. Please respond via email.
