XFree on DU

I've given up hope of finding a driver for DU / DECWindows for my
Number Nine Motion 771 card, which uses the S3 Vision 968 chip. I've
noticed that there is support in XFree for this chip. Has anyone
installed and run XFree under DU (3.2C)? The alternative is to dump DU
and install Linux, which uses XFree.
