Frank,


        The easiest path for you would be to use installupdate from
3.2c to 4.0 and then again from 4.0 to 4.0b. There would only be two
updates required. I have included all of the possible path
information for you just in case you would like to do something
different, but the path above should require the least number of
updates. Just a reminder that when you perform multiple updates, you
need to run the updadmin(8) command to remove obsolete files between
update installs.
