 Many thanks to:

 Kurt Carlson, Dave Cherkus, Dave Golden, Patrick Farley,
 Amy Skowronek and Henry A. Flogel.

 Original Question:

|> I recently installed DU 4.0b on a 2100 that was previously running
|> Windows NT 3.51. When the machine was running Windows the graphics
|> were fine. However, when I installed DU on the box it complained
|> with: "This system requires a driver for its graphics card." At this
|> point it the console will still work but in text mode.

 Solution:

 All of the respondents had great advice but the problem was the graphics
 card is not supported by DEC Unix (or Open VMS for that matter).
 Here's the card specs;

 PB2GA-CA NUMBER 9 VGA (1 - 3M)

 DEC Support pointed me to a web page that had all this info:
 http://www.digital.com/info/alphaserver/tech_docs/alphasrv2100a/docs/supported_options.html

 Looks like we'll just trade up the card to finish the migration to DEC Unix.

Thanks,
Steve McLaughlin
