Please
Please consider the following hypothetical configuration.
Four Alphaserver 1000a sharing Storageworks disk array
via HSZ50 SCSI controller with TZ885 DLT tape autoloader
running TruCluster Available Server.
From the NSR SPD I deduce that the following licenses
are required to use NSR to backup the cluster's disks:
1 of NSR Server (Included in NAS 200)
1 of NSR Jukebox Tier 1
4 of NSR Cluster Client Tier 1,2 or 3 (can't tell which tier)
1 of SCSI CAM Layered Components for Digital UNIX
Correct?
The SPD for the SCSI CAM software suggests to me that a license is granted
for this with an NSR server license which implies to me it is bundled in a
NAS 200 license.
Correct?
The SPD for SCSI CAM software says "Controller-based SCSI devices are not
supported." Does this mean you couldn't connect the TZ885 via the HSZ50
controller if you want to use NSR?
Thanks
