When compiling with gcc 2.7.2 and Digital's built make and ld, compilation
itself goes ok, but every attempt to link ALWAYS (whatever i try to make)
ends up like this: (here, attempt to compilate GNU make-3.75)

---
gcc commands.o job.o dir.o file.o misc.o main.o read.o remake.o rule.o
implicit.o default.o variable.o expand.o function.o vpath.o version.o ar.o
rscan.o signame.o remote-stub.o getopt.o getopt1.o glob/libglob.a
getloadavg.o -L/usr/local/lib -o make.new
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
/lib/libc.a(find_rtfunc.o)(.lita+0x40): undefined reference to `_DYNAMIC_LINK'
/lib/libc.a(find_rtfunc.o)(.lita+0x58): undefined reference to `_gpinfo'
/lib/libc.a(find_rtfunc.o)(.lita+0x68): undefined reference to `_fpdata_size'
*** Exit 1
Stop.

What's puzzling me is that libc.a is a standard lib of the OS (DU v3.2c).
Any idea, any one?
Thanks in advance.
