Hello Managers!
Three kindly souls answered my request:
1) Robert L. McMillin <rlm_at_syseca-us.com>
He is quite sure that Perl 5.003 compiled with the defaults.
Well - I defenitly tried that and it didn't work
2) Ollivier Robert <roberto_at_eurocontrol.fr>
He did send me a config.h ready to use - but it was a wrong
subversion and wouldn't run with 5.003
( If somebody is interested (it's Version 5.00305) then MAIL ME
I will forward the file! )
3) Steven E. Newton <snewton_at_oac.hsc.uth.tmc.edu>
He was sure the '-ldbm found' is the problem. Well - I didn't
include that optional library on a second run, but the whole
thing wouldn't compile anymore at all
Perl5 doesn't run yet, but nevertheless many thanx to Robert,
Ollivier and Steven. I stumbled about this while recompiling:
<db.h> NOT found.
and later on:
<gdbm.h> NOT found.
This might be the problem. I couldn't find the files on the
whole system yet. Any further help greatly appreciated!
Yours,
Andreas Bunten
