mounting cdrom?

I am using a DEC alpha 3000 with an alpha_osf32 operating system on an
AFS file system. What is the command to mount a cdrom on my machine?

I tried something link:

mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /cdrom

but didn't work.
