Hi DU Admins
We would like to have a colour postscript printer that we
can access from our network. The problem is that very few
inkjet printers support postscript and those that do are too
expensive for us.
What occcurred to me is that we could attach a cheaper inkjet
printer to the parallel or serial port of one our au series
workstations and print to it through ghostscript.
Is this possible? If anyone has done something like this
could you send me your printcap entry and filter script or
whatever you use to get it to work?
Any other hints or suggestions would also be welcome.
Thanks and Season's Greetings (where appropriate).
Ian
