I am trying to get a 2100 to print to an Windows NT 4.0 machine. The
2100 is running DU 3.2g, and the output of lpstat -a or lpc> stat is
toalarms:
printer is on remote host earth146 with name lpt1-hp4v
queuing is enables
printing is enabled
149 entries in spool area
Wed Dec 24 09:02:33 1997: waiting for earth146 to come up
My questions are #1 - what does waiting for x to come up mean, and #2
this was working fine before a coworker moved the printer. All I did is
change the remote host value in /etc/printcap, and did a
/sbin/rc3.d/S65lpd stop then start. Not it's not printing! Any clues?
