Upgrading video cards?

I'm currently running a Trio64 (#9 S3, Vision 330) 2mb video card in my
AlphaStation 200, but have a TGA 8mb (ZLXP-e2) that I"d like to put in to
allow 24bit color.. anyone know what I need to do to perform the upgrade
with minor hassle? Or, is it just swap and boot and pray?
