FOLLOW-UP: adding a second CPU

     Greetings,
     
     I wanted to give a follow-up message on my efforts at adding a second
     cpu to an Alpha 2100 and 4100.
     
     Everything went quite smoothly except the 2100 4/275 board we
     purchased from CPU Options was DOA. I'll deal with that on Monday.
     
     The 4100 5/300 board from CPU Options worked great however and is now
     in production. I also had recently received the latest v5.2 release
     of the Alpha firmware so I took this opportunity and upgraded all my
     Alphas (800,1200,2100,4100, and 255 Workstations). I encounterd
     absolutely no problems with this version of the firmware on any of
     these platforms.
